Who is EXKi?

“Nature’s Kitchen” has its roots in Brussels where three longtime, college friends—Nicolas Steisel, Frédéric Rouvez, and Arnaud de Meeûs united their innovation to create healthy, upscale meals. They began their mission in 2001 when they opened their doors in Brussels. Since then, they have expanded throughout Europe, and now the United States, with fresh, healthy ingredients and vegetable-based signature dishes. EXKi’s name comes from the French term “exquis” which translates to “delicious food”.  This is symbolic of EXKi’s quest to combine simplicity with exquisite taste.

About EXKi

EXKi is known as “Nature’s Kitchen” and prides itself on its vegetable-based cuisine, focusing on local, seasonal selections.  While staying true to their mission, EXKi has just rebranded and relaunched with a refreshing new look and freshly curated menu.  Centrally located at the corner of 28th Street and Madison Avenue, EXKi’s updated space is enhanced by natural light and a live plant installation to evoke a feeling of freshness that matches their garden-fresh menu offerings.  The unique and innovative updates are set to combine urban sensibility with farm fresh goodness in a space that draws on simplicity to let the honest ingredients shine.  EXKi is masterfully merging the top quality recipes and ingredients of fine dining with the convenience of a quick-casual eatery.
